Close Protection for the Middle East
“Working in the Middle East is as complex as you make it!”
A Close Protection Service for Middle East Travellers
Intelligent Protection International has been working in the Middle East for many years. We have vast experience of Middle Eastern customs and cultures and a great understanding of how things work in the region.
To aid our operations in the Middle East, Intelligent Protection International Limited utilises its own intelligence cell, providing up-to-date analysis, a live security and terror related news feed and live mapping. Things can change very quickly on the ground; dynamic situations call for quick decisions. These at-a-glance Travel Advisories aid that process. See: Travel Advisories Middle East & Asia.
We offer three types of Close Protection within the Middle East, as each lends itself to different situations. Hostile Environment Close Protection, Executive Close Protection and Covert Close Protection.
Hostile Environment Close Protection
We have operated in the Middle East since 2002, providing armed protection for clients in extremely hostile environments. Prior to Intelligent Protection International Limited being incorporated, we were operating Close Protection in the region under our sister company, International Intelligence Limited. It was during this period, that the company was involved in the rescue of a legal team in a Baghdad suburb one evening in 2003 (see related press article).
We are happy to discuss with our clients their requirements for any Hostile Environment Close Protection. The services we offer range from armed convoy escorts, to camp security and advanced logistical support.
Executive Close Protection Services
Our Executive Close Protection Services are suitable for business trips to most areas of the Middle East including Dubai. With experienced operatives, our aim is to ensure a safe and successful visit for our clients.
These services can, and often do, include in-country transportation; more people are killed in Middle East by Road Traffic Collisions (RTC's), than by acts of Terrorism. In 2009, Saudi Arabia had at 17 deaths per day, the highest RTC death toll in the world. Driving standards are very different and that is why we have our own people drive.
Covert Close Protection
Sometimes a more covert approach is required. Within certain business environments, sometimes “security” can be seen as very disrespectful and inappropriate. For example, when invited to turn up with a visible security team - it's not really the done thing.
We are able to provide our clients with a more tactful, Covert Protection, inserting operatives in and among your own party, for example, as a Personal Assistant.
Please do contact us to discuss how any of these services might work for you.
